Rajshahi Division earned the third successive victory in the 3rd Women’s National Cricket League beating Sylhet Division by 103 runs at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna on Thursday.
In the other match of the day, Dhaka Division defeated Barisal Division by eight wickets at the same ground.
Winning the toss Rajshahi Division opened the innings and were all out for 144 runs in 47.2 overs with Shathira Zakir contributing 30, Dolly Rani Sarker 24 and Tithi Rani Sarker 20 runs.
Yamin Rupa captured three wickets for 29 runs while Sharmin Akhter took two for 26.
In reply, Sylhet Division were dismissed for 41 runs in 47.2 overs with Irin Sultana making 11 runs.
Shathira Zakir of Rajshahi picked up two wickets for five runs and was adjudged player of the match.
Besides, Lata Mondal and Panna Ghosh claimed two wickets each giving away four and 16 runs.
Sent into bat first at the Khulna University ground, Barisal Division were bundled out for 59 runs in 28 overs with Fahima Khatun making 11. Shohely Akhter inflicted the major damage grabbing six wickets for nine runs. She was adjudged player of the match.
In reply, Dhaka Division reached the target making 63 losing two wickets in 17.2 overs with Shahnaz Parvin scoring not out 20 and Chamely Khatun not out 19 runs.
Fahima Khatun took two wickets for 26 runs.
