Erosion renders 500 families homeless in Bhola

June 11 : Erosion by the Meghna and Tetulia rivers has rendered 500 families homeless in Bhola recently.
According to the sources, the affected areas of the district are Rajapur, Ilisha, Dhania, Kachia and Beduria unions of Sadar, syedpur and bhabanipur unions of Daulatkhan upazila, Hasan Nagar and Gongapur unions of Borhan Uddin upazila, Sonapur and Chandpur unions of Tajumuddin upazila, Lord Herdinge and Mongolsikder unions of Lalmohon upazila and Full Article on The Independent
